June 5: GeekWire Cloud Summit | Seattle, WA | Learn More

Idit Levine, founder and CEO of Solo.io is a featured speaker at the 2019 GeekWire Cloud Summit event in the DevOps track. Her talk titled “Service Mesh for Better DevOps” will explore how in the migration to microservices emerges new technologies in the application stack better suited to distributed environments. Service Mesh is one of those technologies that abstracts the application networking from the business logic of the application. This session will cover how a service mesh work and the opportunities it presents as a vehicle to bring new functionality to distributed microservices in the form of proactive testing, application resilience and progressive delivery.

June 10: Software Architecture Conf | San Jose, CA | Register

Solo.io will be at the O’Reilly Software Architecture Conference in both the solutions expo and in the agenda. The expo is co-located with Velocity Conf and we are looking forward to meeting you in San Jose — stop by booth 708 for a chance to win a free copy of the Istio in Action book.

Christian Posta, Solo.io Field CTO has a featured talk on Thursday June 13th at 3:55pm in Room 210 B/F titled “Incremental Adoption of Microservices with an Application Gateway” where he takes a look at the reality of bringing microservices and cloud native architectures to the enterprise and how interesting new proxy technology like Envoy Proxy and API frameworks like GraphQL can be used to ease the adoption of new architectures and focus on delivering business value now. June 11: GraphQL Meetup| Boston, MA| Join the Group

Solo.io engineer Arturo Campos and co-organizer Leo Kin are hosting the first meetup of the Boston area GraphQL group. The event kicks off at 6:30pm at Wayfair in Copley Place with networking and will feature two talks about how organizations are using GraphQL.

June 26: All Things Kubernetes Meetup | Washington DC| Register

Hosted by TechSpace Ballston and Kublr, the Enterprise Kubernetes management solution, this meetup and happy hour will start at 6:00pm and feature lots of networking and a talk by Christian Posta on Chaos Debugging to proactively seek and resolve issues and weak points in your microservices application before they happen.

Christian Posta is joining this year’s line up at 2:55pm to speak on “Clarity in the World of Service Mesh Confusion” which explains how service mesh is a pattern and technology layer that is emerging to solve cloud-native, service-to-service communication challenges including; service resilience patterns, service identity and security, metric collection and observability and more. Attend this session to learn when to and not to use a service mesh and explore three open-source service mesh implementations, Istio, Linkerd, and Consul.
