We are looking for customer-centric technologists with a passion to help companies learn, adopt, and scale their applications with the Solo.io product portfolio. Job Description:

  • Develop strong relationships with customers, sales and product teams
  • Proactively guide customers through their architectural decisions and product options to suit their needs.
  • Build and conduct product demonstrations both virtual and in-person
  • Evangelize Solo.io products and related technology through speaking engagements (conferences, meetups, webinars) and content (blogs, articles)
  • Contribute to Solo.io projects by submitting issues, pull requests and documentation
  • Self-starter on staying current with fast-moving additions to Solo.io products and related technologies such that you’re able to converse and write about in-depth
  • Manage stressful situations with calm professionalism, empathy, and compassion such as support production outage or high visibility Sales proof-of-concepts
  • Actively engage with the Solo.io community and related open source projects to foster adoption and grow external contributions

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of programming experience; preferred languages: Go, C++, Java, Node.js
  • 2+ years hands-on in Java ecosystem: Java EE/Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Job Summary:

As the office manager of a fast growing and dynamic start up, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the protocols for day-to-day operations at our headquarters site. This role will interact with every area of our business with opportunities to explore and lead new projects for career development, if desired.

  • Welcome guests who visit the business and coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence or deliveries and redirecting phone calls along with assisting/resolving queries and issues.
  • Manage office operations, vendors and contracts for key services including facilities, decor, supplies, lunches and snacks
  • Manage job postings, schedule candidate interviews and new employee onboarding process (workspace, business cards, IT hardware and software access) and employee expense reports.
  • Manage software licenses and employee access to software including G-Suite, Slack and others
